EXPLOSIVE DEVICES

This section is on how to make your own explosive devices. Note: these are extremly dangerous and should be handled very carefully with all due safty precations and equipment! All of these explosives can throw shrapnell, gravel, earth, rocks, etc., which can all kill you much like a bullet. They are not weapons or toys and are for industrial purposes or as a pyrotechnic device only.

Low Order

These low order explosives explode by undergoing oxidation, or they burn. But unlike most flammable materials the fules and oxidizers used in low order exlosives burn and produce heat, light, and gas at an extremely fast rate so that when confined they explode. They can be used to detonate certain more sensative high order explosives. High order explosives detonate. They detonate in most casses by shock, not by flame or heat.

CRATERMAKER

These are real easy to make and fun. First, Drill hole in the top of the cartrige, if it already isn't used look for a small dent. The size of the hole should be about 3/8 or bigger. Then our in the bp and put the fuse in. You may have to shack it around to get the fuse in all the way. Then use hot glue to seal it. Lite it and get away. Watch out for shrapnell, lite these away from anybody like in a field.

PIPE 'BOMB'

First drill a hole in the pipe and screw on one of the end caps. Put the fuse in and pour in the explosive powder. Screw on the second end cap and lite. This one is one of the more dangerous ones and you should be very carefull with it. It throwes alot of shrapnell and can easily blow your hand off. Some people thought these are "BOMZ" good for blowing people and property up, and thanks to the media, now everybody deos too. But there not. So take care.

PIPE CHARGE

I call this a pipe charge because it's too small to be a pipe bomb. Drill a hole in a small pipe about an inch in diamiter and a few inches long. Crimp the ends with a clamp or vise or something. Put the bp in through the hole you made, and stick in the fuse. You won't want to put the bp in before you crimp the 2nd end like I wish because the force might set of the explosive powder. Watch out for shrapnell.
